I don't think I will post any new photos for a while. I'm very busy with my music. I'm the lead vocalist of a band called Diamondback (www.myspace.com/diamondbackmetal) and I have another project on the side with the lead guitarist Daniel Andersson called Smothered (www.myspace.com/smothered) wich is Death Metal and more technical and exteme compared to Diamondback. I'm constantly coming up with new riffs and trying to write lyrics and rehearsing with Diamondback for upcoming shows so I just don't have the time to photograph just now. Hope you all had an awesome summer. Autumn is coming... Busy busy busy!

Been trying to find more insects to photograph... I think THAT is my real passion with macro photography. Capturing the details of these little exo-skelleton wearing aliens that you can't really see with the naked eye. Some of my latest photos I've uploaded feature some of those bugs I've been able to get a descent shot of. They are a pain in the ass to say the least. They always move around and you're lucky if they sit still for 2 seconds and by the time you've pressed the button they've flied or ran off to somewhere else...

I had some good luck with a wosp who was looking pretty tired from flying in the rain and was chilling out on a flower i have on my balcony. To get a descent shot of a bug you have to do it handheld... forget tripods, you have to have your camera ultra mobile... And lighting can be a problem outside, especially in bad weather, because the shutterspeed is so low from the lack of light... I'm always trying to get away from the ISO bermuda triangle but sometimes it's hard... Oh well.. Stay tuned for more insect photos from me soon.

I got my camera back from service, it's like new, they fixed everything. And just in time because I've got that photography urge back... It's an urge I've been missing because I've had shitloads to do lately. Anyways you'll be seeing more uploads from me in the near future!

Just recently my camera has started to act strangely. For instance, the inbuilt stabilizer has stopped working and does not compensate when taking hadheld photos (usualy lenses have anti-shake stabilizers bit the sony a-300 has it inbuild in the actual camera module). Another thing I noticed was with the kit lens, the lens that came in the box (called SAL1780 I think), a 17-80mm standard zoom lens wich is pretty crap to zoom with but the wide angle photos turn out pretty sharp... Nothing compared to my macrolens though... anyhow, for some reason when photographing fully zoomed the sensor is not center, it's like a millimeter of to left, wich is very irritating. So it took it back to the store so they can send it to service. Fingers crossed they fix everything. If no I'm gonna demand my money back.

I've been really bad at updating recently. I've had alot to do since I got fulltime employed and trying to write lyrics for my band. The music seems more closer to me now than photography but me and my girlfriend went on a walk with our cameras the other day and took some photos. I hope you enjoy them, and I will try to upload photos more frequently!
